چکیده
Objectives: Cementless hemiarthroplasty is advised because it reduces the risk of morbidity and mortality in older individuals who use cement. For patients with high-risk clinical issues had femoral neck fractures, we assessed effectiveness cementless hemiarthroplasty. Materials Methods: The design this study was a cross sectional conducted DHQ Teaching Hospital Gujranwala. 48 patients, including 19 male 29 female, an average age 88-years. using to treat fractures. 30 (62%) porous-coated stems, while 18 modular revision stems (38 percent). All bipolar heads. Following surgery, follow-up radiologically performed at yearly intervals. Results: number followup years 4.2. There were no hospital-related deaths among patients. Six (12%) experienced medical difficulties during period follow-up, 4-patients (8%) passed away. Due acetabular degradation, only 2 hips changed total hip replacements. One patient scheduled for due sinking greater than 3 mm. No developed heterotopic ossification or protrusion. HHA (Harris-hip average) score 84. dislocation (2 Practical Implication: advantages cemented technique seem be offset by its option increased morbidity. Thus, some these very elderly morbid orthopedic surgeon faced dilemma regarding correct surgical choice, which should one that can promise pain relief rapid resumption function and, same time, prevent reduce Conclusion: An appropriate form therapy fractures issues, particularly those cardiopulmonary character, With technique, after hemi-arthroplasty fat embolism hypotension reduced. PURPOSE To compare outcomes of unipolar versus bipolar uncemented hemiarthroplasty and determine factors affecting outcomes. METHODS 433 and 274 elderly patients with displaced intracapsular femoral neck fractures underwent uncemented unipolar hemiarthroplasty and uncemented bipolar hydroxyapatite-coated hemiarthroplasty, respectively. Surgical options were based on the patient's general cond...
